Augustana Holds Ribbon Cutting and Dedication Ceremony for Foundation Heights, $12 Million Apartment Building for Students
As part of a ribbon cutting ceremony hosted by the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Aug. 26, Augustana dedicated Foundation Heights — a new apartment building for students. The approximately $12 million project is part of the university’s strategic plan — Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030 — to transform the physical campus to include new and enhanced facilities.
Augustana Art Students Featured in Invitational at Eide/Dalrymple Gallery
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University is showcasing “The Augustana Student Invitational" — on view through Friday, Aug. 28. A closing gallery reception will take place the same day from 7-9 p.m.
Forward Sioux Falls Helps Fill the Gap, Provides Augustana Social Work Students With Paid Internships
The Forward Sioux Falls Campaign is generously supporting Augustana University’s Harriet Emily Scott Social Work Program — awarding the program $50,000 annually over the next five years. The Forward Sioux Falls Campaign is providing compensation for qualifying Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) and Master of Social Work (MSW) students who are completing internships in health care-related fields.
