• ACT Composite: 20 or SAT: 1030 — Augustana's Average: 25
  • Supporting documentation (scan, screenshot, other) containing your test score (with subscores) MUST have your first and last name included in the document/image to accept your test score.
• Grade Point Average: 2.7 on a 4.0 Scale — Augustana's Average: 3.68
• Official Transcript — showing evidence of a college preparatory program of study, including a recommended curriculum of:
  • 4 Years of English
  • 3 Years of Math
  • 3 Years of Science
  • 2 Years of Social Science
  • No Foreign Language Required

Augustana will evaluate applicants on a holistic basis. Admission decisions are informed by grade point average and academic history, course selection, as well as leadership and involvement both inside and outside of the classroom.

Transfer students can apply at least one semester prior to their desired enrollment date. AU sends the first offers of admission and academic scholarships in October and continues on a rolling basis thereafter. Your application for admission will become part of your permanent record at Augustana University.

Apply for an Augustana University graduate education program

Requirements:

  • High School Transcript and/or Score Reports From Past 3 Years (minimum)

• Submit Essay or Personal Statement
  • Topic of Choice (250 words or more)

Students enrolled in classes at Augustana in the past are not required to fill out a full application in order to return.

Don't quite meet all of the requirements above? Have your GED? 

Requirements:

• Minimum Score of 500 on Each of the Five GED Tests
• Submit Results of PSAT, ACT or SAT Exams.

In addition to a student’s academic record, admission will also be dependent upon a student’s ability to positively impact the Augustana community. Because of this, prior behavioral and/or criminal issues may be considered in the admission process.
