Biography
Dr. Amy Lewis teaches Biology & Human Concerns, Introduction to Biological Principles I and II, Introduction to Environmental Science, Island Biogeography of the Galapagos, Principles of Ecology, Ornithology and Junior Seminar. She earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Bowdoin College, master's degree in ecology from Pennsylvania State University and Ph.D. in wildlife & fisheries sciences with a concentration in wildlife from South Dakota State University. Lewis was a park naturalist at an outdoor education center in New Jersey for four years before earning her Ph.D., and she joined the Augustana faculty in 2004.
