Biography
Dr. Christina Martinez is a residency-trained cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapist with clinical interests in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, pediatrics and critical care. She earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in history and geography from the University of Arkansas, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Her clinical focus includes the care of medically complex and critically ill patients, with a particular emphasis on individuals requiring mechanical circulatory support such as ventricular assist devices (VADs) and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). She is passionate about optimizing mobility, functional recovery and quality of life in high-acuity settings through evidence-based, interdisciplinary care.
Martinez is dedicated to advancing clinical excellence in cardiopulmonary and critical care rehabilitation, while contributing to improved patient outcomes across pediatric and medically complex populations.
