Dawn Eckhoff, MSW, CSW-PIP

Biography 

Dawn Eckhoff joined Augustana University in 2025 as an instructor in the Harriet Emily Scott Social Work Program, where she teaches integrated health courses. A licensed certified social worker, Eckhoff brings extensive experience in integrated care and has provided social work services in primary care settings since 2014. She is especially passionate about strengthening the integration of social work within health care teams to improve access, coordination and support positive outcomes for patients. Prior to her work in integrated care, Eckhoff served in clinical, teaching and leadership roles within community mental health, hospice care, social work programs and the South Dakota Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
