Biography
Deanna Versteeg is the vice president for human resources, where she oversees compensation & benefits; recruitment; employee relations & wellness; the Campus Learning Center for Children; affirmative action; and training & development. Versteeg joined Augustana University in 1990, and has 40 years of progressive experience in all human resources functions. She previously worked for insurance and banking entities in both Las Vegas, Nevada, and Sioux Falls.
In April 2023, Versteeg was awarded an honorary Bachelor of Arts degree from Augustana for her many years of faithful service to the university. She earned her A.A. from Nettleton College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
