Biography 

Dr. Lori Leineke is a 1994 graduate of West Virginia University's physical therapy program, where she received a B.S. in physical therapy. She earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2006 from the University of North Carolina. Later, she earned a Doctorate in Education from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2019. In 2016, she began teaching a Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and five years later, she moved to Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. In 2026, she proudly joined the Augustana DPT-CO Program as the director of curriculum.

 

Leineke is an advocate for the profession, serving in many ways to further physical therapy and physical therapy education. She is a program reviewer for the Commission for Accreditation of Physical Therapy Education and for the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education. She teaches the APTA Level 1 Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program.
