Biography 

As dean of the Augustana University School of Music, Dr. Peter J. Folliard leads a faculty of more than 30 musicians/professors and 200 student musicians. Folliard is on the forefront of music production in higher education, and is working to promote a technology-rich program at Augustana University, supported by partnerships with Avid Technology, the Yamaha Corporation, the Berklee College of Music Online and Midcontinent Communications. As an award-winning conductor and educator, Folliard has held conducting positions with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and The United States Air Force Band and Symphony Orchestra, and taught at prestigious institutions including the Juilliard School, Eastman School of Music, Peabody Conservatory and Crane School of Music.
