Financial Aid, Costs & Scholarships

Invest in a Bold Future

At Augustana University, we don't want money to get in the way of achieving your dream of a college education. That's why 100% of our full-time undergraduate students receive scholarships and/or grants to achieve those dreams.

Thanks to generous alumni and friends of Augustana, students benefit from several scholarships each year — removing obstacles and rewarding merit. Some are awarded by the university, while others come from outside our institution.

The majority of scholarships begin by applying for and being admitted to Augustana. They are also renewable, provided students maintain full-time status and good academic standing.

Augustana University student-athletes are not only excelling on the playing field, they’re getting it done in the classroom. Since 2018-19, Augustana is tied for the most scholarships won (11 in total) compared to all schools in NCAA Division II and ranks in the top 10 among all NCAA schools nationwide.

This past September, Augustana University student Zouhera Mahamed ‘27 was named a recipient of the Obama Foundation’s Voyager Scholarship (also known as the Obama-Chesky Scholarship for Public Service). An Augustana University student is following in her mother's footsteps and taking a chance on AU. Nadia V. Rhodes '28 comes to the university from Jessheim, Norway, and is excited to share this place — a common bond — with her mom.
