Augustana University is launching an opportunity for students from Lincoln and Minnehaha counties in South Dakota, who join Augustana as new, first-year students in Fall 2024. Qualifying students from these counties will receive full tuition at AU.
Augustana is committed to providing affordable education to students and families, especially in our community. We’re proud to be part of Sioux Falls, the largest city in South Dakota, with thriving career opportunities, entertainment and culture.
- Be new, first-year students at AU for the 2024-25 academic year,
- Graduate from a high school in Lincoln or Minnehaha county,
- Have earned a 3.25 or higher high school GPA through junior year,
- File the FAFSA and qualify for a Pell Grant (household incomes of less than $80,000 are most likely to be eligible), and
- Enroll full time at Augustana, live on campus and have a full meal plan.
To get started, students must apply for admission to Augustana and complete the FAFSA. Students who qualify are automatically considered. This opportunity is renewable each year for up to four years as long as the student maintains eligibility.
