Augustana Professor of Art Dr. Lindsay Twa is showcasing an exhibition called “A Garden Conversation,” at the Washington Pavilion, which features charcoal drawings, in addition to relief prints and lithographs. The printmaking process of lithography lives on at Augustana thanks to those who came before her.
Augustana University, Active Generations Partner to Promote Positive Aging, Lifelong Learning
Augustana University and Dr. Lucas Hamilton, assistant professor of psychology and director of the aging studies program, are partnering with Active Generations — a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting positive aging for adults. The partnership will kick off with the 2025 Lifelong Learning Program, where Hamilton will host a series of interactive TED Talk-style sessions at both of Active Generations’ locations. Vikings Partner With Vikings and Other NCAA Institutions to Launch Collegiate Women’s Flag Football League
Augustana announced that the university is partnering with the Minnesota Vikings and five other NCAA institutions to launch a new collegiate women’s flag football league. Participating schools include AU, Concordia College Moorhead, Gustavus Adolphus College, Bethel University, the University of Northwestern, St. Paul and University of Wisconsin, Stout.
Ben Prisbe Named Augustana Club Hockey Inaugural Head Coach
Augustana Club Hockey — set to begin in the fall — has its first head coach. Ben Prisbe has been selected to lead the university’s inaugural club hockey program, which will consist of a men’s and women’s team. Augustana University to Offer Men’s and Women’s Club Hockey
Augustana is excited to announce that the university will offer men’s and women’s club hockey beginning in Fall 2024. The university will also make the club sport of figure skating even more competitive, including the addition of a coach. Augustana’s Eide/Dalrymple Gallery to Showcase Work of Internationally Renowned Printmaker, Illustrator and Book Artist
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery at Augustana University opens “Man Before a Mirror: Gaylord Schanilec,” which will be on view on Thursday, March 20, through Wednesday, April 16. A gallery reception will be held on Friday, March 21, from 7-9 p.m., with a slide lecture by the artist at 7:30 p.m.

Augustana Accounting Graduates Ranked No. 1 in South Dakota, Top 10 in the Nation for CPA Exam Pass Rates
Augustana University accounting graduates who took the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination for the first time in 2023 had the highest pass rate in South Dakota and the sixth-highest in the nation. This is according to the latest data released by the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
Augustana University School of Music’s Bach Collegium Presents Johann Sebastian Bach’s ‘St. John Passion’
