Augustana University's Board of Trustees voted unanimously at its recent December 2019 meeting to approve a new strategic plan — Viking Bold: The Journey to 2030. Their message to the Sioux Falls community also appeared as a full-page advertisement in the Sunday, Dec. 15, issue of the Argus Leader.

Alma Mater & Fight Song
The Augustana alma mater is sung at convocation, which opens the school year, and at graduation to close the school year. The Augustana fight song is played at athletic events and rallies, and the football team sings it with the student fan section after winning a home game.
