If a member of the Augustana College community has reason to believe that a student is missing, whether or not the student resides in campus housing, all possible efforts are made to locate the student to determine their state of health and well-being through the collaboration of the Dean of Student's Office and the Department of Campus Safety.

Serving as the advisor for pre-law students, Dr. David Golemboski of the Government and International Affairs Department devotes significant time to helping students determine what law schools are best for them. 

Students can earn credit for prior learning through Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), and College Level Examination Program (CLEP) exam scores. Post-Secondary Educational Option (PSEO) courses also transfer to Augustana.
