Who can come to Faith Fest?
Faith Fest is for sixth through eighth graders and their adult leaders. People from any tradition or worldview are welcome to attend.
How much does it cost?
Faith Fest costs $75 per middle school youth. Adult leaders attend free of charge. Registration fees cover two meals, activities, musicians and programmatic costs.
What is the deadline for registration?
We appreciate you honoring the registration deadline of Jan. 24.
What’s the cancellation policy?
Anyone who cancels after Jan. 24 will receive a 50% refund.
What about adult leaders?
We ask that at least one adult leader attend Faith Fest for every 10 youth from their congregation. Adult leaders attend free of charge.
Why has Fest Fest been changed from an overnight to a one-day event? I was really looking forward to sleeping on the floor of the Elmen Center!
Your enthusiasm for gymnasium sleepovers is unique and commendable. Feedback from others suggests that a day-long event feels more manageable to most people, so we're giving it a try.
What is the Faith Fest service project?
This year, we have an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Our Saviors Lutheran (OSL) Church for our service-learning project. Students and group leaders will walk from campus to OSL. Students will rotate to different stations to learn about important topics that impact the Sioux Falls area and do a hands-on activity together. They will also have time to dwell in scripture and hear the perspective of university students.
