Welcome Week is Aug. 27-30

Designed to welcome first-year and transfer students to the Augustana community, Welcome Week is a time where new students meet their classmates and student leaders, learn about resources and opportunities, and get oriented to life on campus. Expand the dates below for more schedule details.

Saturday, Aug. 27

8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. — Move-in
- 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. — IT Help Desk Open, Madsen Basement
- 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. — Business Office & Financial Aid Office, Viking Grounds, Morrison Commons
- 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. — Student ID Pick Up & Photos, Student Affairs, Morrison Commons
- 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. — Hot Dog Cart, free-will donation for HAPPY, Northside Green
12:30 p.m. — Family Worship, Chapel
1:30 p.m. — Family Orientation, Elmen Center
1:30 p.m. — All-Resident Meetings

4:00 p.m. — Families Say Goodbye & Students Head to KO Stadium

4:30 p.m. — Welcome Week Ground Breaking, KO Stadium
- The official start to Welcome Week 2022 Your Future: Under Construction at AU! Hear from the University President, the President and Vice President of your Augustana Student Association (ASA), meet the Welcome Week Committee, Viking Guides, and your Welcome Week group (also your First-Year Seminar 110 classmates!).

The Welcome Week Committee is a dedicated group of student leaders working to provide an accurate first impression of incoming students’ new Augie home. Our mission is to encourage student engagement, validate students’ college decisions, and demonstrate what it means to be an Augustana Viking.
