Media Production & Entrepreneurship

Why study media production?

Media production & entrepreneurship (formerly multimedia entrepreneurship) majors at Augustana University will become creative content producers who can produce their own work — shoot and edit video, create music, engineer audio and navigate the copyright licensing.

  • This degree prepares students with the mindset of an entrepreneur accompanied by the technical skills necessary to succeed as a 21st century musician.
  • This interdisciplinary program partners with Avid Technology and is ultimately made possible by the Midco Media Center — a “tech sandbox” for students to explore audio, video, music and podcasting.
