Biography
Buhta joined the staff of the Archeology Lab in 2006. He received his M.A. in Maritime Archaeology and History from the University of Bristol, United Kingdom in 2005. For 17 years, Buhta has conducted archaeology throughout the Midwest and Great Plains. Research interests include maritime transportation, site formation processes, museology, paleoenvironmental reconstruction, archaeology of Great Plains culture groups, Geographic Information Systems and cartography.
