Biography 

Dr. Rosanna Beraldi teaches Introductory Biology, Physiology and Advanced Physiology. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (Italy). She earned a Ph.D. in developmental biology from the University of Siena and Italian NIH. As a post-doctoral scholar at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, she worked on how to cure cardiomyopathies using stem cells and iPSc (induced pluripotent stem cells) in a pig model. She joined Augustana University in 2017 as an assistant professor.
