Our Pro Musica Scholarship is our most competitive award, totaling $8,000 per year. Any student is eligible for this scholarship, regardless of their chosen major, through completing an application and audition. Successful awardees have typically been a principal/section leader in their high school ensemble and have had multiple years of private instruction.

Pro Musica Audition Recommendations
Selections for your Pro Musica Scholarship audition should demonstrate technique and musicality. The level should be suitable for solo and ensemble contests. The duration of your repertoire should be approximately 3-6 minutes.
- Instrumentalists should perform one or two selections that are contrasting in style. View the Band Audition Informational Video for more information.
- Vocalists should sing two selections that are contrasting in style. One or both of the pieces may be in a foreign language, but is not required. View the Choir Audition Informational Video for more information.
Submission Instructions
The School of Music is currently accepting audition submissions for students enrolling in the upcoming academic year. Students may audition in-person or submit an online video audition.
- In-person auditions will be held in February.
- Online auditions are being accepted immediately. Video recordings should be uploaded as an .mp4 file format or can be linked to media that is uploaded to locations such as Vimeo or YouTube.
