A group of Augustana alumnae and friends are making a collaborative effort to celebrate women who will lead, serve, give, succeed and be bold in their communities.

Augustana University announced a $2 million gift that will help in the creation of the Sharon Lust School of Education, located in the Madsen Social Science Center on the university’s campus.

Augustana will renovate the Morrison Commons, located on Commons Drive connected to the Edith Mortenson Center on the university’s campus. In partnership with Sodexo — AU’s food service and facilities management partner — construction on the approximately $7-8 million project is expected to be complete by Fall 2023.

This election season, Augustana is proud to announce that the university is launching a new initiative to encourage listening, learning and civil discourse through an effort called “With Malice Toward None.”
