Augustana is proud to report that the university's nursing program was ranked the best program in South Dakota for 2023 by RegisteredNursing.org.

For Augustana’s growing population of international students — a record-breaking 92 new international students for the 2022-23 academic year — the International Programs Office (IPO) works hard to combat homesickness with initiatives like the Friendship Family Program.

In partnership with Campus Ministry, the School of Music invites the public to join the Augustana University community for its annual Christmas Vespers 2022 Concert, “Home by Another Way,” a celebration of the season of Advent featuring Augustana’s choirs, orchestra, band and jazz band. In-person performances will take place at 7:30 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 3, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.

Augustana University is excited to announce that its nursing program has been awarded a federal grant (No. 05-79-06256) to purchase nearly $440,000 in equipment and supplies for simulation education.

Sponsored by the Center for Western Studies, Augustana University is excited to announce that the 41st Annual Artist of the Plains Show will take place on Friday, Oct. 28, through Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Hilton Garden Inn (201 E. 8th Street) in downtown Sioux Falls.

Augustana University students Cooper Benning and Madeline Basso ‘23 were crowned the 2022 Viking Days Royals at coronation on Wednesday, Oct. 12, in the Elmen Center.
