Megan Raposa '15, who majored in communication studies/business and journalism, is the owner of Sioux Falls Simplified, a local news outlet that “cuts through the clutter” and “delivers a bite-sized version of the local news” in weekly email newsletters and a Sioux Falls Welcome Guide.

Augustana student Mariya Mamman ‘25 is a communication studies/business and economics double major from Jos, Plateau, Nigeria. She is interning this summer at the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls, gaining experience as a social media & events intern.

The university is proud to announce that Augustana Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) was honored at the 44th annual Minnesota PRSA Classics Awards banquet, held on May 12, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Steven Tims ‘11 is the director of operations at Raven Industries, but his career began at the company more than 10 years ago as an intern during his sophomore year at Augustana.
