Students who study the STEM composite major are given the flexibility to mix mathematics and a science discipline or multiple science disciplines. This is not a major intended to prepare students for graduate work in science, but instead to prepare them for cross-disciplinary science. For example, a science journalist or management in a technology-oriented corporation.
