Dr. Lucas Hamilton joined the faculty at Augustana University in 2023 and specializes in human aging. He teaches Lifespan Human Development, Psychology of Aging, Health Psychology and Research Methods. His research lab is the Healthy Experiences Across Life (HEAL) laboratory. Collaborating with a diverse team of researchers, the HEAL lab uses social network analyses, socioemotional experimental paradigms and neuropsychological testing to examine individual differences that can predict key health outcomes. When away from the classroom and HEAL lab, Hamilton practices what he professes. On top of his social and civic engagements, he is an amateur runner and cyclist, all while trying his best to keep up with two rambunctious kids.
