Roman Catholic students are always welcome in the Office of Faith & Spiritual Life, and they are supported by Christ the King Catholic Campus Ministry.

  • Christ the King Church is just a few blocks away from campus and hosts mass for students every Sunday at 5 p.m.
  • Fr. Jordan Samson works closely with students to support them in their spiritual needs.

Meet Fr. Jordan Samson

Fr. Jordan Samson is a Catholic priest and pastor of Christ the King parish, located just blocks from Augustana. He is a native South Dakotan and spent his childhood near Eden, Minnesota. After seminary studies at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, he was ordained in 2011. Over the past decade, Samson has served multiple parishes throughout South Dakota, including Aberdeen, Canton and Sioux Falls. Along with Traci Kulesa from Catholic Campus Ministry at Christ the King, and in collaboration with the Office of Faith & Spiritual Life, Samson provides spiritual support for students at Augustana.
