Biography
Sister Dr. Vicky Larson joined the Augustana nursing faculty in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science in nursing education from South Dakota State University. She earned a Ph.D. in nursing from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Larson served as a staff registered nurse at rural and regional hospitals in South Dakota. She enjoys teaching Pathophysiology and Foundations of Nursing at the sophomore and junior levels. Larson is a certified nurse educator, and her research interests are holistic nursing, spirituality in nursing and best practices in nursing education.
