Augustana is proud to announce that career site Zippia has ranked AU No. 2 in the nation in 2021 for post-graduate employment.

Augustana University announced that Dr. Matt Volansky has been named the inaugural Dean of the School of Health Professions and Dr. Marcia Entwistle as the inaugural dean of the School of Business.

Augustana student Giselle Mawadri ‘23, of Kampala, Uganda, is an accounting and business administration major, also minoring in media studies. She was gracious enough to answer Augustana’s questions about experiential learning while interning at Deloitte and Touche, LLC over the summer.

Thabani Gonye ‘96 had a front-row seat for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics as president of the Zimbabwe Olympic Committee (ZOC).

Augustana student Ellie Holmes ‘22, of Brandon, South Dakota, is majoring in biology with a minor in Spanish. As an intern, she split her time throughout the summer in the research lab at Augustana and at Fernson Brewing Company in Sioux Falls.

Drs. Joyce and Margot Nelson were named recipients of the DAISY Lifetime Achievement Award — a first for Augustana. 

Augustana University student Tiana Townsend ‘22 was named the lead author of a paper recently published in the peer-reviewed journal Frontiers in Physics — a rare achievement for an undergraduate. 

Augustana student Taha Afzal ‘22 is double majoring in computer science/software engineering and data science. Afzal spent the summer as a software engineer intern with Raven Industries, Inc. 

Augustana is excited to announce that the university will offer a semester-long study abroad program in Central America with a physical location in Costa Rica.

Augustana University and the Butterfly House & Aquarium (BHA) in Sioux Falls have a deep connection based on research and community engagement.
